'Victor Vault at Home' Concert Series Culls Unheard Gems From The Victor Vault
The COVD19 Pandemic has caused an incalculable amount of damage to all of our worlds. The Victor Talking Machine Co. shuttered and furloughed its staff starting over 45 days ago - leaving its factory, venue, offices, and archive empty (with the exception of security presence). During this time, several members of the company have volunteered their time to push forth a project that aims to bring some modicum of levity to our homes during the crisis. The ‘Victor Vault at Home’ Series of ‘mini concerts’ are a joy to listen to and study for fans of music that are missing The Victor Vault, and live music in general. The recordings are culled from Victor Co’s extensive database of multitrack masters that are carefully catalog and stored at the end of every performance at The Victor Vault from 2015 to 2020. For many years, it was The Victor Company’s intention to mix and master the best recordings for release - but the time-consuming project was delayed in the face of the progress of the last several years.
The Victor Company would like to thank everyone who has listened to the first few releases - and likewise, we’d like to thank the recording personnel for the recording, mixing, and mastering of these mini-concerts in the midst of one of the most trying times our country has ever faced.
‘The Victor Vault At Home’ Series has released 3 weeks worth of performances from Graham Alexander & Co., Leigh Nash, Denny Laine, The Victor Co. Players, Tyler Hilton, Laurence Juber - and the company will follow a release schedule of 2 Artists ….every Tuesday at 9:15 AM on Victor Talking Machine Co’s Official YouTube Channel:
